How to market a new cafe? - xtinct2 - 01-29-2013 05:46 AM

My friends and I are opening up a new cafe and I'm in charge of marketing/generating buzz/etc.
Any advice?
(cafe opens in March/April 2013)
Thank you!

Thank you!

There are many different ways. Firstly you could try using social media, for example social networking sites, you can advertise on forums, You can make adverts online, for example if you Google cafe's in London, there are various different websites which will come up which advertise all the different cafe's in that area. By posting on here you are attracting people looking for what you are offering.

Also methods such as business cards door to door, flyers in shop windows, Maybe even try to advertise them in other businesses. If the cafe is just opening in March/April 2013 It may be good to start with a special deal of some sort and promote the deal to get people down to your cafe. This would be a good way to get you're business out there through word of mouth.

Hope this helps.

I too think social media is the good way. you can get people to like a fanpage. besides, you can advertise on newspaper a day before the opening saying that for the first 500 customer will get a cupcake/bun or whatever. That really will make your cafe crowded.
