I'm looking to use it for travel writing/photography, modeling, and business purposes, but mainly for just blogging about my personal life. I'd like to add music to it and I would like for it to have useful widgets relating to Facebook, Twitter, or other social networking websites. AND IT MUST BE FREE!

Well,
Wordpress and Blogger would be best place for blogging. In these blog websites, there is an auto promotion. It promotes your blog through out the world.

It totally depends on the circumstances. There's WordPress, which can either be used through WordPress's website as a subdomain, or can be used as a PHP script on your own host with your own domain (costs money). There's also Tumblr, which hasn't stopped growing in popularity since it was released. There is also Blogger, which was mentioned below, but I don't know much about it. Overall, I'd suggest Tumblr. It's easy to use, and free.
