I reaaaaally can't wait for their new album but I'm not sure which month? They said in spring but that can mean April-June
anyone know the exact month? Possibly day?

This is a quote from John Cooper dated today, Thursday, December 27, 2012 from a blog I found while searching to find the answer to your question and it is the closest I have come to a concrete answer:
"Skillet has announced they are officially done recording their next record! Starting today, the new album heads into the mixing stages!"

Jesus Freak Hideout says early 2013 at the bottom of the page here. My advice to find out as soon as a date gets leaked (it hasn't yet) would be to stalk the band on Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube, and also routinely check out sites like Jesusfreakhideout and RadioU/TVU (don't worry I do this all the time).
