I am trying to send a tweet to someone on Twitter and...? - Taylor - 01-29-2013 05:50 PM

So I'm trying to tweet Naill Horan (From One Direction) and my tweet is like 3 or 4 paragraphs and I try to press send but it won't let me press the send button! Is there anything I have to do?

Unfortunately, a tweet can only be 160 characters or less. (A character is a letter, space, or punctuation mark.) You can tweet several times, each tweet no more than 160 characters, if you want. But it will not let you send the tweet if it is more than 160 characters. Sorry!!! Sad

Actually, the Limit is 140 characters per Tweet, and 160 characters per Direct Message.

Try reducing your message or split your message into two or more tweets.

Unfortunately, only 140 characters per tweet and 160 characters per direct.
Usually when I want to tweet something longer than 140 characters, I use: http://www.twitlonger.com/index.php/main_new
