Their are lots of applications in android market for that try searching.. I personally use fbstatusshuffle.

try this its the best and official app for Facebook... U can do a lot more than 'Status Update' with this app......and its totally free

You have thousands of facebook applications, they are available even for much cheaper and less featured phone.
