there shouldnt be a follow limit. my friends and family have about 1 million follows maybe more.

I dont think there is one, cos if you look at 1Ds followers they have followers in the millions so definitatly not 500!

Twitter has no follow limit whatsoever.

Every Twitter account can follow a maximum of 2,000 other accounts (there's no limit when it comes to the number of followers you can have, at least). Once you’ve followed 2,000 users, there are limits to the number of additional users you can follow: this limit is different for every user and is based on your ratio of followers to following.
