Hi Rosy,
Please follow these steps to delete your Twitter account:
1.Sign in to http://www.twitter.com on the web.
2.Go to your Account settings - http://twitter.com/settings/account - and click on Deactivate my account at the bottom of the page.
3.Read the account deactivation information. Click Okay, fine, deactivate account.
4.Enter your password when prompted and verify that you want to deactivate your account
5.You have now deleted your Twitter account.
Note: It can take up to 30 days for a deactivate profile to clear from Twitter's internal systems. During the time that it takes to remove your account from Twitter, you won't be able to create any new accounts using the same username or email addresses.
You can restore your account by signing back in within 30 days after deleting it. After 30 days, your account will be completely deleted and inaccessible.

Go to Twitter.Log in at the top right hand corner of the page.
Click on "Settings" ,also located in the top right hand corner.
This will take you to the Account Management section.
Scroll down to the bottom of that page. Click on the
"Delete my account." link located in the bottom left hand corner
under the "Save" button.
Click on the "Okay, fine, delete my account." button when you
are redirected to Twitter's 'Goodbye' page.
Your account is now deleted!
