I feel like everyone's glued to their phones all the time. The one person in my life that I've noticed that has bo idea how rude they are with their phone is my own mother. When people talk to her shes stareibg at her phone.. basically with WHATEVER she does she ignores everyone cause of her phone. Its sad.

People don't go out as much
People would rather socialize online than meet in person
People buy it more
Higher demand in the market
Effects:
Less social interaction in person
More jobs in the technology field
Kids may do worse in school because of technology

Positive: The internet allows better communication and distribution of information. Only 3% of the world's population produces food for the whole. And more...
Negative: Disenchantment, people become less cohesive due to the decrease in face-to-face social ties. Social anxiety increases because people aren't "practicing" being social as much. And more...
