I'm new on the online business thing and need to market and drive people to my website but need the best way with out costing an ARM and leg ....there are people who think its a scam but I've done my research and am making money but would like to make more

You could always buy traffic which would increase your overall seo presence & would increase your rating on alexa.

It's not a scam, and NEVER EVER EVER listen to those dummies!
Other people are too lazy to make this work, so they will tell you that you are wasting your time. Don't ever give up, and don't listen to stupid people who think that you need to have a "real job" to make it in life.
People with "real jobs" are miserable, and they are not in control of their life!
Now...to get more traffic.
Do you visit forums? If you don't, then start! Signatures at the bottom of forum posts are actually a great way to get a bit of extra traffic to a website...just make sure not to SPAM and be annoying with it.

Are you using Facebook pages and Twitter? If not, start! You can get a lot of traffic if you use social media correctly....a ton of it!
You can also do SEO of course, but be careful. When you rely on search engines like Google to bring you traffic, you get screwed when they change their algorithm....so never leave it up to them more than possible.
Diversify and you will find traffic!
