Can you get charged for downloading .apk files on your Android Phone? - DrHylia - 01-31-2013 02:01 PM

Cause I downloaded a few games, and I just heard about something called Market Licenses Check.
Okay, can someone explain what is this Market Licenses check?

LOL LOL noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

now you will be charged the data used to download the apk files on your data plan... thats a no brainer.... but if you downloading games from a "non-approved Google Android MArket site", then no again... LOL

the licenses check is a simple code "some" Devs put into thier PAID apps... meaning the app will only only only work if it has the right "current" code (since most apps must connect to the internet and use the DEv's server in order to work... kinda like all facebook traffic is handled by facebook only servers)...... the code also helps prevent priacy of PAID apps on those "non approved markets".. LOL.... but, a simple little Linux twist here and there and badabing.. the app works... but thats another story.

so dont worry dude! :-)
