How can i get people to follow me on twitter? - <3 snowman <3 - 10-12-2012 01:01 AM
ok so i just got a 'twitter' and i really want to get a lot of followers. i want to try to get at least one famous person to follow me...any tips on how i can go about doing this?

One answer for you. Be very interesting and active on it during the day. If you don't make an effort people won't follow.

If you do conversation through the use of @replies and post interesting content, people will be more likely to follow you. Also, follow all of your followers. A lot of times businesses or other people just like you will be searching for followers.
Also, RT [re-tweeting, copying a link or content with their user name with RT afterwards or before] what another Twitter user said is a good way of letting them know you're reading and enjoying their content, so they may do the same for you.
