So i want to send a message to my old friend who has twitter, she has lots of people following and i dont no how to send a mesage to her?

In your twitter you can just make your status update as "@yourfriendsname yourmessage" and everybody will see it on your twitter page, but her name will be linked and she will receive the message too.
There also is a possibility of sending direct messages which are not open to be read by anybody, you just click on the "Direct Messages" button in your twitter home page. (I think you have to follow her first to send direct messages.)

To send a private message type:

to send an message you must put an @ symbol in front of their twitter username/handle
e.g my username n twitter is thorsonb
to send me a message you must put it @thosonb
after the @thorsonb a space and you message
