Help me deal with my misogynistic friends? - Joy August - 02-01-2013 09:32 PM

They also slut-shame and say a lot of misogynistic things (like girls who don't shave deserve to be left in a cave, girls should look like this and that, yada yada yada). Even the girls are like that too. It makes me uncomfortable. However, they are my friends and I follow them on social networks like twitter. I don't want their sh*t on my timeline but I can't unfollow them either.

What do I do? If it helps, I am sixteen and they are around the same age.

What does slut shame mean? It does not should good and you should not be friends with people like that. They are crass and have no manners, no good will come of that. Yes you can un-follow them and you can always block them. They do not know that they are blocked. Unless they try to post crap on your time line and it will not post. But if you do not show up in their activities online they most likely will not think of you.
