Trying to connect internet on to my dell desktop. I brought the $25 netgear, i heard itll work but i guess a more expensive one(which isn't a problem). And it can also be belkin or linksys, just need to know which particular.

Did you mean that you have bought a Netgear wireless router and need an adapter for your desktop?
If so, you can buy any Netgear wireless adapter to connect to your desktop. Which will be easier for you to get support.
