well facebook is a privacy invasion tool used to sell advertising to you.. and so that law enforcement can profile you and/or easily obtain evidence against you from the comfort of their office..
twitter OTOH is not much more than a platform that will allow you to send out pretty much an SMS message to many people at the same time... which can help to be a marketing platform for your website or blog...
twitter wins this round....
