I have a famous person in my family, help answer? - Sarintha - 02-03-2013 12:39 AM

Some of you may of heard of upcoming 4th placed xfactor contestants union j? One of my second cousins, Joshua Cuthbert Is in the band. Only a few people knew about Josh being my second cousin, and they will cool and normal about it. But now, people know as Facebook photos of me him and even the rest of the boys have been posted on there. So many people have been asking for signatures and to meet them. I'm fine with helping them but its constantly. I got someone who used to be a bitch to me ask to be my bestfriend last week!!!!! Many are treating me different and I have not told josh for many reasons. I just want to know what you guys think I should do...

• should I tell josh?
• tell my mum?
• tell them to stop?
• how should I handle it?

You just tell them you will get them no information about your second cousin, you should not have mentioned your relationship to anyone, why would you do that? does it make you feel better about yourself just because someone you know has been on television? don't worry about it too much, next year he won't be at all famous then you wont have to tell anyone you know josh.

ignore them, they're just in it for the fame. u should probably tell him cuz i mean that is why they're talking to u and yeah ur mom should know. idk what else there is to do, just enjoy all the niceness haha wish that would happen to me so dont take that for granted.

hey, union j follow my sister on twitter ahaha:-) it sounds like these people are in it just for the fame!! if they weren't your friends before, explain to them that you can't get them anywhere near your cousin! they'll soon get bored and you'll find who your true friends are:-) i guess its okay if you have a really nice friend who is friends with you because they like you then i dont see any harm in getting them an autograph but make it clear to everyone else that you're not getting them one! otherwise people will keep pestering you till you give in and then might leave you! if you want to tell josh your problem do it, maybe he knows some ways on how to handle these people seen as he's new to fame!? don't tell people you meet straightaway he's your cousin or they might fake friends with you! tell people ya can trust! good luck:-)
