A few people followed me on twitter and I tried to follow them back but it kept coming up unortharised, and I read online and it said to go into settings on my iPad and try typing in my password on the twitter link in there but it kept coming up incorrect password and I no for a fact that was my password, what is happening and what do I do?

You are not logged in to your twitter account, you're just looking at Twitter's website and finding things without viewing them from within the dashboard of your account. Go to the top right hand corner of the screen you are viewing Twitter on where it says "Have an account? Sign in." Then sign into your account.

I think it's Twitter because I was just using it and then it stopped working 3 minutes later. It keeps saying page unavailable, but all the other websites I'm at work just fine.

Being on the go need not prevent you from using the social networking website Twitter. You do not need to wait until you get to a computer to use Twitter -- you can access the website with your smartphone. As a mobile user, you will be able to use all your favorite Twitter features, including profile customization. If you decide to change your Twitter profile picture while on the go, you can upload a new one from your phone.
