Hello everyone, I just started Tumblr today and I was wondering.. How do you get your first follower(s)?
No I don't mean how do you follow trade, or how do you spam your link on everything that is even somewhat tumblr related, how do I get my first real followers with having little or none already?
How do people even find my blog? Do people just find me through searching for tags? In which case should I put down every tag word I can think of, or just stick to a few best fitting words for my tags?

-- Side note: This isn't a follower trade, I'm not looking to follow anyone in particular at the moment so please don't post your link, if however you're similar to me or are interested in what my blog might become then you're free to follow me. ( I'm a 16 y/o guy who is basically a loner and using Tumblr as someone/thing to talk to. to get followers, you have to follow other people first. then you can promote eachother etc.. and eventually more and more people will find your blog

Ok, just reblog a lot. Maybe start conversations/message the people you follow. I made a WeHeartIt and gained a few followers. If you have facebook and twitter, you can put your URL on there. If your friends have lots of followers, you could ask for a promo.
