I always behave and speak in the same way. I despise rudeness in general and I am never rude to nobody. Texts and actual conversations for me ar the very same thing.

I know right!
I never swear in person, I don't even say sh*t but online I'm like swearing F's B's and C's!

I guess the best techniques I've heard of so far is to re-read a text before you send it, don't reply in the heat of the moment or send the text to yourself/try to put yourself in the recipients shoes and see if you'd like to be spoken to in that manner.

The one that works best for me is not replying in the heat of the moment. I might write the text, but I'll save it to drafts, read it after a little while, at which point I realise I do NOT mean any of that poo

Happy to say my colorful language is now out of my texts and confined to twitter Tongue
