Should I stay my own style or fit in? - Aly - 02-12-2013 06:06 PM

My unique style is best described as emo/scene. I do not label myself. But, judging by my looks, what do you think? Should I just try to fit in with the social crowd? or be myself?

Be yourself, don't fall into the band wagon. You have your own unique style, keep it that way.

Always be yourself! People will respect you more, and you will feel more confident if you like your style and yourself. If people are judgemental then that's their problem, I'm sure someone will like your style! Smile

Without seeing what you wear it's hard to say.

I would be happy being different. The world is full of sheep, they follow the herd and don't have original thoughts of their own. The world needs people who aren't sheep.

Be different. It may be tough but it's worth it.

Never. Ever. Change YOU in order to 'fit in'. That is the most absurd thing I've heard. Sure you might get more friends, but chances are they'll be as fake as barbie. The friends you make by just being you, will be the real thing. You should always do you and be who you want to be. Nobody should have to change themselves just to fit in.

BE. YOUR. SELF!
