Easy answer. Media in general influences our social life but particularly the social media like fb and our smartphones. The social media has a VERY big effect on most if not all of our social life. Can you imagine your (social) life without tweeting, texting (or even sexting) through our smartphone, fb or msn? We ALL do it, some more than others, but unless you were born before 1930, your social life is greatly influenced by the (electronic) media. Period.
