Can someone see who's searching them on twitter? - Jessica - 02-12-2013 09:25 PM

If I create a twitter can I see if someone is searching my page? Or like if they find my twitter on google is there some sort of alert to tell me that they are looking up my page?

If so, is there a way to stop that from happening other than making my page private?

Thanks!

that kind of defeats the point of twitter. it is a networking based site where you gain followers through interesting tweets being retreated... a private page just wouldn't work

as far as i know there is no way of making your page private

you will be notified when someone decides to follow you (this means all your tweets appear in their feed, but you will not be able to find out who is visiting your page

twitter is a very public thing where anyone can follow anyone..... if you want your page to be private then twitter is not for you
