Are there websites where you can post your photographs or even arts for viewing? - george - 02-13-2013 08:04 AM

I have also read that Christie's may soon be providing such services, instead of them inspecting/approving your stuff in person and then presenting the work at auctions in public.

Certainly! Among them are Etsy, DeviantArt, Folksy, and Uncommon Goods. You can list your art for sale or at some of them you can simply showcase your talents and gain followers.

(The link lists more sites. And just a note: DeviantArt tends to be "cluttered" whereas Etsy and the others have a more edgy and mature setting.)

deviantART is a good one. You can sign up for free, have commissions, sell prints, post your work.
Etsy is where you can sell your works on your own little shop. Every item costs 20 cents to sell and you can keep them there for a limited time.
Facebook or Twitter.
You can also get a tumblr account.
Or you can even start your own blog.

Hope I helped!;D
