So i am writing a project on social media and how it has changed our world. one topic that i am talking about is examples that social media has made PUBLIC. i can only think of a couple example like Kony 2012 (social networking ) and justin bieber (social network ) or Amanada todd ( Social networking) if any of you guys can think of any other examples please let me know !!

You should be looking at both sides of it ... the good and the bad .... that facebook and twitter have created.
Good ... connections
Bad .. too much information, cyber bullying, etc
A search using "social networking advantages and disadvantages" will likely get you more than enough material to do the project.
