1. Create many posts
2. Tags
3. Follow many blogs, and they eventually will follow you back

if you put tags on your pictures, they have a better chance of being found and seen, which would lead people to your blog
also if you are a member of another website like yahoo answers, facebook, twitter, youtube, deviant art, etc, you can put the link to your blog in your personal info or bio.
also, just asking people to check out your blog doesnt hurt either
