A few celebs use to tweet me a few thousand tweets back and i have the urge to favourite the tweets now but twitter only lets me go back around 50mentions

try the website archive dot org, it might contain twitter archives but i'm not sure - i have not used it for twitter
or, do a google search for a "Cache" of twitter

It might be something to do with the amount of followers or people you're following. Try emailing Twitter.
