How can I see my notifications on Twitter? - sandy marie ; <3 - 02-15-2013 08:32 AM

I'm new. On facebook, a red number appears on the Earth icon. Where on Twitter can I check my notifications? for example, when someone retweets me, favorites my tweets, and tweets me back? Oh and follow me if you'd like Big Grin @hisandyyy I'm a newbie with little followers Sad

At the top there are 4 different links.
Home, to bring you to your homepage where you will find tweets from the people you follow.
Connect, where you will find tweets from people who tweeted at you, who retweeted you, and who favorited one of your tweets.
Discover, some stuff around Twitter that would be of your interest based on your tweets.
Me, your profile with all your tweets, picture, and little about me section.

Twitter is a little bit different than Facebook. Like Facebook, twitter doesn't have any separate notification option. To see whats happening, you have to go to the page itself. Like for example, when you want to know if anybody mentioned (@) your name in any post, You'll see a '@' at the top, you have to click there to see the result. The only notification you can get is, on the top left site, there is a drop down arrow, click on it, you'll see a option called 'Messages'. When you have new messages, you will be able to see the numbers right beside it.

Just play around with your profile for a while, you'll get it. It's quite easy actually.
