How to forget something permanently? - M.V.P. - 02-17-2013 03:04 AM

I saw someone's password to their facebook and I can not help but look at their stuff and I really wish I didn't see it. Is there anyway I can forget seeing that like some mind trick or something? Please help

Tell them you saw their password and recommend they change it. That will eliminate the temptation to do wrong.

Every time you think about trying to forget it, you bring it to mind and therefore defeat your purpose. Self-control is your only option here. Don't mess with other people's private information. End of story.

I know it sounds hard to believe, but the longer you just not think about it the more of a chance you will eventually forget. Try thinking about other things to keep occupied like work, school, goals, hobbies, etc. also I heard the average person has to think about something for at least 7 seconds to register it as a memory. Something to keep in mind.
