I have a LG ENV TOUCH and i use twitter by texting that phone number but i like to receive all my updates but sometimes the text messages i get are 2 many. Is there any way i can use a twitter app on verizon for free without paying anything at all?

Not for that phone, no.. Texting is your only option..
