I just signed up for Facebook and I'm not on Twitter or anything, and it said once I'd signed up, "People you might know." and had loads of people I know on there!!! How did it do that???

It probably found your location. Or if you filled out any info on where you live/what school you go to. The government is probably hiering an assassin for you as we speak...

from the information you put. example, the place where you live or the school you went. facebook tries to find people that are somehow have info that's kinda same to your info.

That's normal, it's based on your location, school, job, and other items in your profile. Once you start getting friends on Facebook,mutual friends will be suggested.
