I agree with the be interesting part, but I would add that if you say interesting things directly to people who you want to follow you by using the reply button, you may get their attention and they migh follow you. But I repeat, BE INTERESTING.

Yes be Interesting. Nobody is interested in the mundane or boring aspects of your life, they have that ion theirs.
