Classified ad sites like gumtree, craigslist, etc
Exchanging links and banners with other sites related to your industry, but not in direct competition to your company
Building your own website
Buying ad space on Google and Yahoo
Using Youtube and other video sites, make a commercial for your business. You can use the video editing program that comes with Windows, to make a free commercial.
Writing articles, and putting them on article directory sites
Optimizing your website, so its on the first page of the search engines
Using sites like squidoo, and hubpages to write informative articles about your industry
finding forums related to your industry and networking
Using social networking sites like facebook and myspace to advertise your business
Most of these suggestions are low cost, but do take time and effort.
