Tweet something you think is particularly interesting and follow it with "Please RT" or "Please retweet." This encourages others to retweet your message and gives you exposure to the followers of everyone who retweets it. Only do this occasionally, however, or you could be ignored. Try tweeting a link to a new article on something of interest to your followers.
