What kind of bird is a "twitter"? - Taco Bell - 02-20-2013 05:53 PM

I keep on hearing people say things like "I got a twitter". What kind of bird do they mean? What color is the bird? Why is it so popular now?

Twitter is like facebook. It's social networking. Not a bird.

If this is a serious question then.....

"Twitter is a service for friends, family, and co–workers to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick, frequent messages. People write short updates, often called "Tweets" of 140 characters or fewer. These messages are posted to your profile or your blog, sent to your followers, and are searchable on Twitter search."

Are you kidding here! Twitter is not a real bird honey and if somebody has actually sold you a twitter bird then he has made a fool out of you. Twitter is just a social networking site like facebook where you update about your current status and people respond to it.
