using my computer and my nokia phone, how am i able to send an image file through the facebook chat-box?

Upload the photo on http://www.photobucket.com
Than copy the url and paste it on the chat box.

if u r on a computer than in the chat box there will be a settings sign, press that and than press "see full conversation" and than there will be a box that says "send photo" and press that

You could upload your photo and post the IMG code from either of these sites
