I'm thinking of using a really close up photo for my facebook profile picture. my face takes up the entire picture. What do you think? Is this common? Would it be weird?

My friends say when a girl takes really close up pictures , she's trying to hide the fact that she's ugly....

Hmm, I think it's alright to have really close-up facebook pictures, but try to put a space or something in the side. Like, your face occupies only 2/3 of the space. It would look better that way.

You can always just do it...and take it off or change the photo if you don't like it. I think my profile shot changes once a month. Some of my friends change multiple times a week. Think of it as a haircut, or even less permanent.
