How is Mark Zuckerberg worth billions of dollars? - SamSam - 02-21-2013 06:17 AM

I'm sure the Facebook website isn't generating billions in advertisement. And before they started to display ads, how did he make money if the site didn't generate any money?

facebook is worth millions not because of advertising, but because of all the personal information on it that can be used to tailor products to the customer and make them buy more.

facebook sells your info to the highest bidder. that's where the money is.

It's the VALUE of the company. Some venture caps bought a piece of company for hundreds of millions. You get the value of the WHOLE company from that, and divide by the portion the Zuck owns, and you get his net worth.

A car doesn't earn any money, yet it has a value if sold, yes?

He is worthless. People just log on to his website to pick up chicks.

His invention is worth something. That is why he spends his night with 10,000 hookers and you pull your wang because your fat girlfriend left you.

Holla.
