I have the motorola droid 2. When i use twitter, people with the iPhone use emoji icons that i'm not able to see on my droid. I downloaded emoji codec but still can't exactly figure it out. any suggestions?

Advice your friends with iPhone to use free Emoji Card app for iPhone. This allows you to read their messages with emoji icons on your Android or elsewhere.

when someone tweets something with an emoji us droid users will see them as squares. if you want to see what emoji they have tweeted press the share button and choose emoji codec, the app will pop up and it will then show you what emoji they have used. so far there is no way to show the emoji icons without a codec unless you have a rooted phone. if you dont know anything about rooting a phone do not attempt.
