I believe those are special 3D glasses she had just been given. The picture was taken when she was viewing her 2012 Christmas speech, which for the first time had been shot in 3D.
Wearing sunglasses normally says nothing about celebrity. It says that you are protecting your eyes from the sun.

Dunno about 'the ultimate celebrity' but, as far as I'm aware, she watches her, televised Christmas message in total privacy - not even with the rest of her family - so I doubt a photographer would have been present.
