How to start talking to a girl over facebook without being creepy? - Nick Nack - 02-21-2013 11:07 AM

I want to start talking to this girl that I only see in the hallways at school. I'm a senior and shes a junior. I added her on facebook the other day and she accepted. The only way we are really connected is that our little brothers are friends (8th grade ) and we ride the same bus in the morning. So how can I message this girl without being creepy? Also. I get on the bus first and sit towards the back. She sits in the front. I want to talk to her over facebook first because i'm terrible at talking to people the 1st time in person. But if i'm able to talk over facebook then it will be much easier to talk in person.

Me personally, I'm kind of the opposite. I don't like flirting over the internet because I love using my tone and body language - but one thing I like to try and do is randomly ask a person something that's relating... Like, "can you help me with my homework?" or in your case maybe incorporate the brothers? Personally I would have started talking to her on the bus (sit closer to her, etc), say hello to her every time I see her in the hallway, the little things you do is what makes you closer to a girl - all about the baby steps before the giant leap... And remember, sometimes you gotta run before you walk - just be a bit blunt and pretty much ask her out... Nothing like "Will you date me" but moreless "Wanna hang out sometime" or "wanna take our little brothers some where fun" (Where it incorporate all 4 of you, with you getting closer to her)... That's my best bet, hope I helped a bit. To me personally, it's always easier and more personal to talk face to face rather than over an object.
