Okay I have a project having to do with social media and I was given Tumblr. I don't use Tumblr so I have no idea what some of the "tags" are or what "track" means. I use twitter and Facebook so if you could TRY to make it easy for me to compare. Thanks!

Tumblr is a microblogging flatform. In a way, it is much like Twitter a way I suppose. You create a blog about whatever subject you like, then gain followers like you do on Twitter. When posting, you can 'tag' posts so other people searching that 'tag' could easily find your posts. Tracking means tracking some particular tags so it would be easier for you to navigate. Hope that helped you get a basic idea of Tumblr.
