If so tell where it is and.................................tell if sony cybershot memory card will work in it or fit in it?

Depending on which Sony Cybershot model it is, the memory card will either be Memory Stick Pro or Memory Stick Pro Duo. Look up both of those on google images and determine which one you have.
It's difficult to find the exact specifications of the 3-in-1 card reader on the Dell Vostro 1550. The best solution is to ask a Dell live sales chat assistant, go here to use Dell's live chat: https://chat1.ap.dell.com/netagent/cimlogin.aspx?questid=BD63B437-06F4-492C-8D81-B0A077B6092B&portid=0B7F7326-E0A3-4DF4-9DF1-4C773B660725&nareferer=https%3a%2f%2fdellchatappdev.us.dell.com/netagent/cimlogin.aspx and ask them "Does the 3-in-1 card reader on the Dell Vostro 1550 laptop support either Memory Stick Pro or Memory Stick Pro Duo cards?".
Normally, I would have done this myself; but, their live chat is not open yet.

It should be on the left side, and It should fit 3 in 1, and I don't think Sony Micro SD Memory card or that one will fit! you need a sony memory Cybershot to SD adapter in order to work!

You can find the memory card slot on the right hand side of the device status led's at front. It will support the standard SD memory card however for more information please click on the link below to acces the the user manual and technical specifications.
