Can I edit the markup language on a page in Facebook? - Eric - 02-26-2013 08:48 AM

I'm trying to edit the HTML on my company's Facebook page. I've tried some apps, but they didn't work. Any way to do this?

No, not really. Facebook does not offer customization of page layout, and probably never will. Modifying the header image, profile pic, etc...is about all you can do.

it's possible if you own your own website, and host the pages as tabs there on your website - but then you can only control the inner content, not the entire page itself

Facebook fan pages allow users to create custom tabs with custom looks by using the Static FBML app. Static FBML is a proprietary markup language created by Facebook to allow developers to more easily implement Facebook-specific features on fan pages. With Static FBML, you can easily customize your Facebook page with HTML and FBML code.
