I really want to become friends with the singer Kerli because she seems like such a good person to be friends with. It's not like she's really famous. I met her once and she remembered my name when I went back so my sister could meet her too. How could I become friends with her do you think?

Tell her how much she inspires you and follow her on twitter or youtube if she has one and it's up to you whether you message her.

Celebrities don't become friends with fans. They see fans as just fans
You would have to have connections to someone who knows them know pretty much

Twitter is the way to go. Send a tweet to her and say something very very good and intriguing to her. I did so with Jeremy Renner and he sent a personal message to me and we've talked a bit since then.
