I've always wondered, probably because I want to be a teenager in the late 90s. It seemed so much more simple, and being a teenager today, it seems like we have so much to keep up with (technology, phones, social media). And the clothes seemed a lot more laid-back, like you could wear anything and it could be acceptable. What was it like for you if you were a teen in the late 90s? Thanks

A few cell phones and a laptop here or there really does not change much a the heart of things. Jeans and a t-shirt worked just as good in the 70s, 80s and 90s as it does today. I think there is a misconception that the previous generation has it better/easier than we did. I bet I did all the same things you did for fun. Some of my friends had pagers, no one had a cell phone. Cell phones still chargerged by the minute then and were not very practical. Internet was still a dial up modem. If there were even songs to download it would have taken about a day. 4 hour downloads were not uncommon. Technology was different, tenagers are still the same.
Enjoy your time. Facebook is not a necessity, stay off it, it is worthless btw...

U have to realuse everyone lives a different life with different circumstances. I did things as a teenager in the 90s that most people probably would never do.
Ur right about one thing. Technology sucks. I dont get the point of putting ur personal business out there for the world to see.
