I own a temporary airbrush tattoo business and i work at Bar/Bat Mitzvah's, and parties of all sorts of types. Now, i run a continuous craigslist ad, i also have a ton of business cards.So, what are some of the most effective ways of advertising? Thanks!

WOM ( word of mouth) is the cheapest and most effective way, but make sure to have and maintain a good image and reputation for your business, unless that, the WOM would destroy your business.
here are some other cheap and effective advertising tools:
- brochures
- booklets
- flyers
- posters
- SMS
- websites ( blogs, facebook,..etc)
choose the tools that u know enough about them and how to use them effectively , remember that the right time and place is one of the most important things. ( don't forget about choosing a target market, mass marketing isn't profitable for a tattoo business)

1. Post an article about your business on related blogs and get free visitors and back links
2. Submitting to directories
3. Free classifieds
4. Forums
