We are building a news and information website (new-age), not a wordpress site as it's home built, so the wordpress plugins won't work on this one. Already have everything else set up, just want to add 'share' buttons to the content as it's posted so others can share it on social media and get our name out there. Anybody have knowledge they're willing to share? If so, thanks a million!!

Each social site offers code on their site. For instance, googling twitter buttons brings up this link as the first link:
https://twitter.com/about/resources/buttons
Just choose the button on that page, click the radio button, and you get the code. Simple html.
You can do this for all of your social networks.

There will be social sharing buttons providing out there ,on which you can utilize the service for.
It will comes with the HTML code which can be integrated to any site( website or blog)
You just add this input this code where the social sharing buttons would like to appear,it will automatically add the social sharing buttons of your popular network(you can select these services from the service providing site dashboard)
I am using these for years with my 10+ websites.You can also try this easy mechanism
