im 14, and have been doing tkd since i was 7 and have a 1st degree black belt. it only took 2 and a half years to earn my black belt, so i was thinking that maybe my school was a mcdojo. should i switch to this school asap to learn something different, and is it a good school? http://www.martialartstudio.net/
i am friends with my head instructor/owner at tkd as well as the head instructor/owner of this martial arts studio on facebook.

The link you sent me sounds like a very family oriented martial arts school. If you want to transition to MMA, I recommend finding a more adult setting that has some sort of full contact that allows punches to the face level. Also, it would be good to have classes in brazilian jiu jitsu, wrestling, or judo.
So, I don't think this is the place if you want to transition to MMA. Good luck.
