A friend's Facebook is sending out e-mails titled 'Your Photo'. The content of the message includes a link to a website. Some people have not been able to access the link but those that have clicked on it have seen some offensive and/or abusive material. Is this a virus and can it infect anyone's computer if the link is clicked? The virus also seems to have affected all access to internet by redirecting to miscelaneous website search pages.

Yes, this a a virus, because facebook do not do that, report it to facebook asap
