Post fliers in local music shops to let people know what you're interested in starting and then they'll have to get back to you. Try networking with other local musicians and see if they also know anyone wanting to start a band in the same genres.

ok first get some sweat band members school, concerts anywhere pretty much have a cool name, a place to practice and make sure they have instruments
another thing if u suck dont try u need a brutal deeper scream like A Day To Remember or Close Your Eyes no high pich gay ones no one likes that anymore

Post ads online. Use social networking sites to find people in your area to join the band. Go to Guitar Center and post up an ad for the soon-to-be band. Ask friends if they know a guy. Just look around and see what you can find, but it might take some time.
